Mr. Lee - History Class
Normalcy was the American Foreign Policy of retreating back to the “good old days” of white picket fences and a lawful America, that never did anything wrong.
But I thought it was quite a strong message.
I’m the sixth in our family to go to Hogwarts. You could say I got a lot to live up to. Bill and Charlie have already left – Bill was head boy and Charlie was captain of Quidditch. Now Percy’s a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they’re really funny. Everyone expects me to do as well as the others, but if I do, it’s no big deal, because they did it first.
To be honest, I know how this feels.

If you are a woman, if you’re a person of colour, if you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, if you are a person of size, if you are a person of intelligence, if you are a person of integrity, then you are considered a minority in this world….
When you don’t have self-esteem you will hesitate before you do anything in your life … You will hesitate to defend yourself when you are discriminated against because of your race, your sexuality, your size, your gender. You will hesitate to vote, you will hesitate to dream.
For us to have self-esteem is truly an act of revolution and our revolution is long overdue.

I’ve found a bandwagon. I decided to jump on it. The picture above is of me in August, just after Gay Pride.
I actually have a blog on Livejournal, which can be found here: http://andufus.livejournal.com/
However, I don’t use that too often. I do occasionally though, when I have something to say or when I remember in general.
I guess the reason I decided to start Tumblr is I’ve always been the kinda person to like the inspiration/cheesy stuff, or the cutesy images, and I’ve seen a lot of that kinda thing around on Tumblr. I’ll probably post some original stuff, but I guess my aim is to reblog a lot of stuff that makes me smile, in hopes it’ll make you smile too.
